ReIgnited Book Review
Title of the book: Reignited
The Book Cover:
The various characters of the title are displayed in a pictorial form.
For example, the letter "i" is shown as a test tube, and the dot if the
letter 'i' is shown as a drop of some chemical dropping into the tube
through a dropper; and the letter "N" is shown as a rocket and it's
launchpad. There is a curious girl on the cover probably thinking about
some scientific ideas.
The author (Kalam Sir)
wants the youth of India to lead their country Bharat to a bright future
through scientific pathways. He tells that Bharat is the place of
origin of Mathematics and Sciences which is indeed true.
NOTE: I will call the author Kalam Sir and Srijan Sir in the rest of the review.
Kalam
Sir says that out of every title that he has got, he loves title of a
teacher the most because he thinks, a teacher can change the students
which in turn can change the future of the country.
The
book has 7 chapters except the prologue and introduction which are
Robotics, Aeronautics, Pathologist, Space Scientist, Neuroscientist,
Material Scientist, and Palaeontologist.
Each
Chapter is divided into sections naming "Introduction" section which
introduces us to that topic and it's achievers, "Future" section tells
about the future challenges that are to be overcome by the future
generation that's us, "Conversation with a Science teacher" section
answers the FAQ's of that topic, and "Meeting the Expert" section tells
us the daily routine and the motivation these experts get through their
work.
Each chapter of the book also contains the oath to
become that person on which the chapter is named after, and an exercise
section in which Readers have to do scientific experiments which helps
them to find their true talent.
Srijan Sir
writes, "Finding passion is indeed a tough task, these days Bollywood
and other movie industries indirectly claim through their films that you
don't need to find your passion, your passion has to find you which is
completely a myth."
After reading this super-interesting book, I have developed a deep interest in pathology.
Every person whether young or old should read this. Even if you are not a Science Lover, I am sure you will become one.
